Okay so I just wanted to give you all a heads up on new albums coming out.
Greg Sczebel has now released an EP as a prelude to an upcoming full length album, “Love and the Lack Thereof”, to be released in the fall. The EP is not on iTunes yet and I’m not sure if it will be. You can check out his new stuff on his myspace or his newly redesigned website, gregsczebel.com.
Future of Forestry just released the first of three EPs that will cover the next calendar year. They are current working on recording their fall release up at Hume Lake. It looks like they will be called Travel 1, 2 and 3 but that may change. You can check out their myspace to hear their new stuff. They are extremely gifted musicians! Check them out, you won’t be disappointed.
Copeland’s album has already come out but is definitely worthy of mention. You are my Sunshine is a great album even though some of the songs are not new, they have been recreated and adjusted to be much more complete musically. I highly recommend it. Also, a band that was recommended by iTunes when I downloaded You are my Sunshine was Lydia with their sophomore album, Illuminate. Very similar sound but seemed to remind me of another small band, The Reason, who also have a new EP out. (it seems like EP’s are the trend right now)
Some other upcoming releases of note are:
David Crowder Band, Church Music (Sept. 09); Needtobreathe, Unknown (Fall);
let me know of others!
