So I was stuck in Seattle for an extra day because of a car break down. I did get to spend some more time with my friend Ben Norton. It was good times. We tried to make the best of a not so good situation. The fuel pump was shot but fortunately, Thank you Lord, it was covered under warranty. Got it all done for free!! Posts will be coming soon.

My cheap plastic fork
Okay so I am just going about a regular day. Stopping by the microwave and reheating my perogies from the night before. As I am eating the 3rd perogy, just putting into my mouth with my trusty fork, I hear a snap. I pull out the fork (just as I would in any other eating instance) and I see just the piece on the right above. Something was obviously missing. I then grabbed the perogy out of my mouth and had to dig through it with what remained of my plastic fork. Luckily, I found the missing link and took it out and ate the rest of my perogies by hand. All just to say to myself, be thrifty but maybe not quite so thrifty…

Here’s a cool little feature I discovered on National Geographic’s website. It is an interesting idea to think and look at nature just in certain colors. It is a practice that has been recommended to me at times. When you are on your way somewhere or even just sitting around, pick something (a color, or maybe smells or sounds) and remain focused on that thing for a while. You will become more intune with whatever you are focused on and gain a deeper appreciation for it. I love doing this. These pictures are great example of this type of activity. The following links will get you to National Geographic’s website to view their highlighted pictures of many different colors. (Just click on the color you want to see pictures of)
Blue Red Orange Yellow Green Purple Brown
