Exciting news has been posted at macrumors.com. Recently in the UK the iPhone exclusivity has ended and now it is set to end in the New Year in Canada. Both Telus and Bell have released statements that they will carry it. However, I took a look and only Telus seems to be advertising it so far, simply stating that the “iPhone is coming soon”. Great news for those who just don’t feel like switching carriers but still desire the iPhone.

Okay, so in the back to school frenzy I thought I should share some of my university wisdom for those of you who are just starting out or just haven’t thought of some of these things yet. This will be the first of a new category called University tips.
We all want to save some money on text books. This can save you hundreds of dollars. So what you should do:
1. Go buy your text books from the university bookstore. KEEP the receipt. The receipt will tell you when you have to return your books by.
2. Go online and buy your textbooks (at discount prices using amazon.com, half.com, ebay.com or just search using google and you can find many others).
Usually they will take a few weeks to arrive.
3. Once your textbooks come in the mail (hopefully before the receipt expires) you simply return the textbooks that you bought from the bookstore. Resulting in lots of extra cash.
Note: one thing with this idea is that you have to keep the textbooks in good shape while using them.
