You may have been to my top links page by now but I just thought I would bring it to your attention along with something new that I discovered. I found a great deal of the day site that combines Steep and Cheap, Whiskey Militia, WOOT and all those other great ones onto a single page that is directly linked to the actual sites. It is called Bantler. Definitely check it out. The basic idea behind these “deal a day” sites is to clear out extra stock. They offer huge discounts but most only last for around a half hour or so then another product comes up. It can be very addicting and with Bantler, you can keep an eye on all of them. A word of caution: this can become very addicting but as long as you know what you are looking for, it is a great tool to find cheap outdoor wear and many other products as well. My wife and I had a great one week all inclusive trip to Varadero, Cuba. We did two excursions: Seafari to Cayo Blanco and a day trip into Havana. We had a great stay and really enjoyed a restful break at the Palma Real Resort. It is not directly on the beach but instead is one block away. It still has its own private beach and a neat little bar and grill right on the beach front. It was great for the excursions as we were the last stop on the way into Havana (and the rest of the country including the airport) and the first stop on the out to all the resorts. This was great because we didn’t have to spend an extra couple hours on the bus. I would recommend it to others. I would say best for vegetarians because there were a lot of “mystery meats” served. If you don’t like seafood you have to be pretty open to what ever the options are. The weather when we went was great, there was a constant breeze keeping the temperature a little more bearable. Cuba in general, great place and people.
